Year 2008 is almost here and I had crossed out a few things on my list and added on a few more. I guess, I will never actually finish fulfilling all my resolutions. So here it is; resolutions for year 2008.

Despite the sad disaster, Christmas is just around the corner. Believe it or not, I had promised BBoy to go to church with him this Christmas eve. It will be so weird when everyone is praying and singing and you have never even been to a church mass before. Oh well, it'll be something new, I guess. I was feeling rather jaded tonight. I came across my obsolete online diary which I wrote when I first started blogging about my life. To my astoundment, I found numerous posts on how my life was falling apart. How much I hated getting up every morning back then. I couldn't see it in the past, but as I was reading my own journal now, I think to myself, this was really one hell of a depressed girl. I can't believe what I've wrote on this private pages of mine. The hatred, the weeping, even suicidal thoughts. It was all forgotten now. How did I let my self-esteem perished then.

As I was reading the later posts, some of them were about this amazing person whom I've met by chance. As much as I hate to admit it but I'd begun to establish some sort of strong feelings for him. I guess this was all too natural. Boy meets girl, girl meets boy sort of stuff. These strong feelings I had for him definitely divert my depression. I'm very thankful to have met you. Somehow, without realizing it, you've managed to pull me up from a sinking whirlpool. However, fate did not cross my path.

Destiny had something else planned. That's when I met Justin. He brought the light back into my life. He gave me a meaning to live again. Justin shows me how great it is to be in love. He is the happiness which vanishes my old despairing self. Looking back, this was what I wrote last Christmas, the last post I've ever written on this private page of mine.

Few days ago, Tw had this obsessive craving for fresh berries frozen yogurt. After lunch, we went to this secluded area and there it is; a little cottage by the side of the high way. Actually, I've been to Sweethearts for a couple of times already but they're always always always closed! So I never really bothered to go back there. Later I found out, they are closed for winter. "Duh Ellen! No berries in the winter!" (-.-")

To Ben's nightmare, there are strawberries on everything. Sadly, Ben is allergic to strawberries. In the end, he can only have raspberries, which is SUPER DUPER SOUR! You can see Ben squinching his eyes everytime he put a teaspoon of the bloody raspberries sauce in his mouth. Anyway, it's a nice little place to chill. They even play Michael Jacko's old songs on the radio.

I've been having urges to make cookies lately. Don't know why. Must be the holiday season mood. Not very good at baking, even worse at cooking. Hence, the easiest, most basic and painless cookie of all time; Sugar Cookies! It's really easy and really great for Christmas. Believe me, it's so safe that I didn't even blow up my kitchen. Towards the end, we got sick of using the stereo type cookie cutters and created our own designs and alphabets by hand. The outcome? Not too bad actually. The cookies are quite tasty. We managed to make two full plates of cookies but most of them are gone already. Yum!

Facts: Baking is only fun when...
1) You have friends around to be guinea pigs.
2) Your boyfriend starts eating the unbaked dough and getting addicted to it.
3) You have friends around to panic with when the dough starts melting and you can't hardly get the shape right.
4) A boyfriend to check on the cookies in the oven every 10 seconds. Yeah, that's right, "You eat all the burnt cookies, if you don't stand watch!"
5) Your friends have creative cookie design ideas.

Have you always mourn over your single eyelid? Why others were born with doubles and you don't? Well, cry no more. Ben, Nobi, TW and Me

I remembered the first day Nobi aka Nobita aka Nobu moved in with us. He had difficulties remembering our names. Usually, I have difficulties remembering names of the people I've just met but when Nobi told me his name, I remembered the lil kid from Doreamon is called Nobita. Therefore, Nobita he is. He was pretty shy and quiet at first. I was the one who was talking and yapping non-stop. I'm still not sure if he understood me back then.

Nobu had decided to go back to Japan to pursue his career. He had only moved in for just over one month. BBoy was kinda sad when he dropped him off at the airport. LoL. Angel also misses Nobu alot. She is always trying to go into his room hoping to fish for some food or snacks. You pampered him too much, Nobu! I guess he was the best flatmate I've ever had. He is a good friend indeed. Always treat me for coffee! Thanks for everything, Nobi.

Hope you'll find a good soon. Maybe someday when we are in Osaka, we can go have our daily flat whites and lattes. But for now, Ja ne, my friend. =)
