Ok Ok, I shall update my blog. I've been so soaked up with Olympics events lately. Congrats to Lee Chong Wei for winning a silver medal... but DATUK?!, I don't really see a need there.
I was in Wellington couple of weeks ago. I was there to obtain a letter of good conducts from the High Commissioner of Malaysia or Malaysian embassy. You know lah, sending the forms back to Malaysia and get it done at Putra Jaya might take up to 3 months if you are lucky or you might not even hear anything back from them. Hence, the 5 hours drive down to Wellington and taking another day off. The attitudes of the workers inside the embassy are not any better than any Malaysian workers. I thought the purpose of embassy is there to provide their services to Malaysian citizens who are away from home, rather.... they seemed more averse to attend to our needs.
Met up with Freddy there. It had been awhile since I last saw him. Parking in Wellington town centre is impossible. Half an hour cost $4 bucks!! Had a huge lunch and drove back to Taupo around 3pm.

Just came back from Auckland yesterday. Was there to attend a 2 days course. This time, the accommodation isn't that great. Everybody was telling me there's a Malaysian restaurant in Auckland which serves really awesome Malaysian food. So we've decided to try to locate the restaurant. My friend had advised me to make a booking in advance as it's always full. Why would it be full on a Wed night? But I've decided to go ahead and make a booking. By the time we arrived there, the restaurant was packed! It was a small restaurant which had contrasted with my thoughts. The food was really expensive but can make a claim mah. The food was great and I would give 8.5/10 for the KK Specials but a 3/10 for the atmosphere. I strongly think they should really rent a bigger place to run their business.
