I was in Auckland couple of weeks ago with my BBoy. Believe it or not, the humble me did not spend a single penny over the weekend! Bboy however, bought two gorgeous shirts from Barkers, and if that's not enough for a guy, he bought another pair of shoes from Hush Puppies. How dare him!!! after all my endurance ... PFIT!! The pain one needs to suffer after spending $2k on a flight ticket.
We had been wanting to go to the Chocolate Lounge for ages. We always walked past it, trying to look for seats but the cafe is always always always full. To our surprise, we managed to snatch the first seat after a bunch of diners move their bums off the couch. Our effort had paid off. The Belgian Waffles were out of this world! The ice chocolate is the best we've ever had. I'll give a rating of 9/10. (-1) point for lack of seatings!
Back in Taupo, we went to a nice cafe just on the lake front. Chilled and sun bathed for a bit since we have not done this in a while. My skin is turning pale!! It's time to get that tan color back. Woot? Tan is the IN color and you look healthier if you're tan. Pale, white skin is definitely out.
